Co-Motion Siskiyou Gravel / Touring / Adv Bike w/ Pinion P1.18 Gear Box - 56cm
This is a special bike! This just may be the
most valuable bike we’ve ever had in our shop. Co-motion is a small,
but well known brand that has been around for over 30. Co-motion bikes
are handmade in Oregon and are highly regarded. They specialize in
tandems and adventure bikes and we have a very fine example of their
craftsmanship.
This Co-motion Siskiyou is a gravel /
adventure / touring bike with a super unique Pinion 18-speed internal
transmission from Germany. This is paired with the super low-maintenance
Gates belt drive. The frame itself is Reynolds 725 heat treated
double-butted cromoly tubing with a cromoly fork with a CNC steerer.
This frame has the stainless steel dropout option and the bike has a
dynamo front hub. These bikes are designed to be rugged, solid and
dependable.
This is a 2018 unit that was purchased in 2020, but the model is still current and a brand new one retails for $8995! You can get this bike for over half off!!
With
a 55cm effective top tube and 50cm seat tube (center-to-center), the
official size is 56cm and this bike should fit most riders in the 5'8"
to 5'11" range.
Besides the already
mentioned new components, the bike has a Chris King headset, Velocity 35
Blunt rims, Rene Herse Umtanum Ridge 650x55 tires, Industry Nine rear
hub, Shutter Precision PD-8x generator front hub, WTB saddle, Uno
seatpost, Soma 3D forged stem, TRP brake levers, Salsa Cycles Cowchipper
drop bar, TRP Hylex hydraulic disc brakes, Race Face Chester platform
pedals and sturdy front rack.
